Ranting Stephen : An Inspiring Poem
My Romantic Poem (Cupid's Cruel Intentions) An Original Poem by Stephen Winburn and Katrina Pesta inspired by Jessica Winburn
I bought you a dozen roses from your favorite flower stand but didn't bother to remove the thorns hoping that they'd cut your hand
I picked out a romantic card because I figured you'd want one and then I glued it shut to watch you open it for fun
I ordered some expensive chocolate (I heard most girls like that) but only after researching which ones would make you fat
I sent you a singing telegram to let you think your hot and then I let you pay for it and claimed that I forgot
I found a cute picture of us and I thought it'd make you laugh but won't come out of the picture frame since it's ripped in half
The sugar's still sweet, the violets still blue and the roses are painted red, I tried writing a romantic poem but it turned out like this instead
Hope you liked the gifts. Love, Alone On Valentine's |
